The Challenge

The Mayor of the City of Edmonton, along with his Chief of Staff, wanted their team to work together more effectively in a difficult political environment.

Our solution

We worked individually with the Mayor and his Chief of Staff to understand their context and desired goals. We mutually decided to use the Enneagram with all the employees in the Office of the Mayor. The Enneagram was chosen because of its power to have his team better understand themselves and use this information toward greater overall personal effectiveness, as well as being able to collaborate more effectively. We provided initial training and then subsequent follow-ups, while continuing to work with the senior leaders.
